In the contemporary packaging consumption environment, the conventional, yet, still very fundamental packaging material, Polyethylene (PE) plastic film, extends its general properties into various functionalities to preserve the quality of products in more efficient way. Soline provides general PE plastic films as well as functional Antistatic and Volatile Corrosion Inhibiting (VCI) PE films to support your first means of protecting the quality of products against corrosion or damage caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD) or vapor/moisture/oxidation.

1. General

- Basically produced from polyethylene with 100% purity, and provides excellent tensile strength, tear strength and transparency.

2. Antistatic

- With the purest Soline’s antistatic masterbatch additive, the electrical resistance value 10^9 ~ 10^11Ω is established on the surface of PE film, significantly reducing the electrostatic discharge (ESD) to prevent possible damage to the product.

3. VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibiting)

- An application of 3~5% of Soline’s premium VCI additive to PE film disperses VCI vapor in the air under 100℃ and generates 1 mole sized protective barrier on the surface of product. Consequently protects the surface against corrosion/oxidation caused by its exposure to electrochemical reaction of moisture, oxygen, carbon dioxide in the air.
